Origami, which is manufactured by AE Austria, was created by podpod design for Vienna’s high-level street and road network.

The delicately styled light posts with a light spot height of 12 metres feature an integrated lamp at the top of the pole to combine anti-dazzle lighting with reliable navigation through the nocturnal streetscape. The fixture at the top of the post takes the form of an LED, can be colour-coordinated with the luminaire and also used to convey additional information (e.g. as part of a guidance system).

Design

This streetlight derives its elegance from the design of the arm, which was inspired by the Japanese art of origami.
