The façade of the ship station planned by the architects Fasch & Fuchs should be illuminated at night. To avoid a blinding of the guests in the ship restaurant ´Motto am Fluss´podpod design decided to make a projection across the Danube Canal from a pole on the other side. Since 2012 the two narrow strips of the façade were illuminated in four colors: turquoise, red, white and golden- depending on the event.

Light space

There was chosen a turquoise projection as standard light.

Projection

The projection comes from the other side of the Danube Canal, mounted on a pole. One projector has a wattage of 575W.

Gobos

The company Lighting Innovation is specialized in light projections and got the right technic for this challenge. They used Gobos with tiny slots where the light comes out.
