The pompous City Palace Liechtenstein in the 1st district of Vienna was reopened 2013 after four years of  extensive renovation under the aegis of the architects Wehdorn. It is known as the first important building of the high baroque in Vienna.

The faced lighting was planned reluctant  at the request of the constructor, but at the same time elegant and festive.

Elegance

At the request of the constructor the facade is illuminated with reluctant elegance, so that the building is illuminated at night according to ist dignity. By using only a few lamps the façade is dipped into a whiff of light.

Also the inner courtyard was planned with elegant reluctance.
